My Favorite Deals at the Grocery Stores This Week!

It’s time once again for my favorite deals at the grocery stores!  Prices are good through July 25th (except at Sprouts where prices are good through July 26th).

Download the Ibotta app here if you haven’t already. So many Alicia’s Deals readers are having great time using it and saving, if you’re not you’re really missing out! You can get a $10 bonus just for signing up and using the app and you’ll earn money back from your purchases at grocery stores  including Sprouts, Fry’s, Safeway, Whole Foods, WinCo Foods, Albertsons and more (think $1 back from Clif energy bars, $3.75 back from Cheerios and one other GM cereal, $1.50 back from Buitoni refrigerated pasta, $1 back from Brownie Brittle, $2.75 back from an Oreo ice cream cake, $.75 back from Cocoa Pebbles, $3 back from Bud Light, and lots more)! The cash back is in addition to any sales or coupons you have, and it goes right into your Paypal account (or you can get gift cards). You just redeem the offer and upload a picture of your receipt, NO COUPONS REQUIRED!

There are lots of new printable coupons this week as it’s a brand new month! Be sure to head over here to get to and print off as many coupons as you’ll use (think $1 off Ziploc bags, $1 off Bounty paper towels, $1.50 off Scrubbing Bubbles, $2.50 off Windex Outdoor, and lots more). There are over $400 worth of coupons to choose from…that’s money directly back into your pocket! Exciting, now you can print off your cell phone to a wifi printer! You can use coupons along with Ibotta  money back!

Honestly the #1 store we are excited about this back to school season is Dollar Tree! We found huge boxes of Scotties tisssues, great looking binders, dry erase boards, big containers of hand sanitizer, a protractor and compass, and lots more for a buck! It seems like they’ve made a huge effort to make their items nicer and more unique this year. Not everything at a dollar is a bargain, but many school supplies are!

Our next stop for school supplies was Office Max. My biggest tip here is to snag an ad and stick to the bargains. They can be difficult to find but they do have some good deals. We found 12 packs of pencils for $.50, poly folders for $.50, and a few other good deals. I did notice many of the supplies are way more expensive than what you’d pay elsewhere. It pays to know what you’re looking for and keep a plan of what’s a deal where.

We hit Target next. We found 24 packs of Crayola crayons for $.50, three packs of pink pearl erasers for $1.44, two packs of Elmers glue sticks for $.50, Crayola markers and colored pencils for under a buck, deals on Clorox wipes, and more. Be sure to use the Cartwheel app to get savings on items you might not expect. We got an extra 30% off our watercolor set. Also keep in mind that if you use your Red Card debit or credit card,  you’ll save an extra 5% off everything. Head over here to get one.

Our next store was Walmart. The king of low prices did have some sweet deals like great looking composition books for $.50, headphones for $4.88, huge packs of mechanical pencils for under $2, and more. Again, if you have time to hit more than one store, there are deals and non-deals to be had at each of them.

Last stop Kohl’s. If you have a Kohl’s charge you can head over here to get 30% off with code BBQ30 and free shipping on any size order with code FREE4JULY. You can use the discount on Adidas shoes, Jansport backpacks, school uniforms, and more.

Keep in mind that new ads come out every Sunday with new deals to save you money on back to school shopping. This should be fun and not a chore any parent should dread! Even if you don’t have kids, it’s the best time to stock up on office supplies.

SWEET! Kohl’s Cardholders Get 30% off and Free Shipping! $10 off Home Too!

It’s time for Kohl’s cardholders to save big! Head over here to get 30% off with code BBQ30. Use code FREE4JULY to get free shipping on ANY SIZE ORDER. Don’t have a Kohl’s charge? Use code HUGESAVER to get 15% off.  I just checked and you can use the codes on Adidas!

Plus everyone can use code HOME10 to get $10 off your $50 purchase AND earn $10 Kohls cash for every $50 you spend.

$37 Off Weekday Tickets to Sea World!

If you have a trip to SeaWorld San Diego planned before school starts don’t pay too much for tickets! Head over here to get a whopping $37 off weekday tickets. You’ll pay $57.99 each instead of $94.99. If you’ll be there on the weekend (or want to go more than one day) you can also save $22 off regular price and enjoy seven days of admission!

SMOKING HOT! $99.50 for a FitBit Blaze Watch (Usually $199)!

Head over here to score the best deal on the Fit Bit Blaze that I’ve EVER SEEN! You can pick one up for $99.50, usually $199 in blue. This could be a great buy to put away for Christmas (can you believe we’re talking about that already?)! NOTE: This deal only works on a regular computer, not a mobile phone for some reason. Thank you so much to Alicia’s Deals reader Leslie for figuring that out for us!

Save HUGE on Lunch or Dinner at Beau MacMillan’s Elements at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort!

This will make a fantastic meal at celebrity chef Beau MacMillan’s Elements Restaurant at the Sanctuary resort more accessible to all of us! Head over here to get $45 to spend on lunch at the beautiful place Monday-Saturday for $20 with code NEW20 (expires 7/17). Or choose $75 to spend on dinner Sunday-Wednesday night for $39.20 with code NEW20 (again expires 7/17).

“It’s not hard to see why Elements at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa is a favorite among Scottsdale’s luxury dining options. For starters, there’s the backdrop. Located not five miles from downtown Scottsdale, Elements features breathtaking views of Paradise Valley. Then, there’s the fact that Food Network star Beau MacMillan works as Elements’ head chef, doling out an array of farm-fresh American meals with Asian accents.

What truly sets Elements apart, however, is its selection of unique entrees (which can be prepared vegan or gluten-free upon request).

  • For lunch: tea-brined fried chicken: Served alongside jalapeno sticky rice and pickled watermelon salad, this signature dish puts a twist on the age-old comfort food.
  • For dinner: hoisin-braised short ribs: Putting a spin on the classic, barbecued short ribs, this dish is slathered in the well-known Asian hoisin sauce and plated with a side of fried rice and Chinese broccoli.”
