Joy Weber, an amazing mom who follows this blog, let me know about a fundraiser going on this weekend. Her son Leo was diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a very agressive blood cancer last year. After over 65 days in the hospital, chemotherapy, and many other doctors appointments, Leo is now cancer free! Joy has organized a Cookies’ for Kids Cancer Bake Sale this Saturday outside the Philosophy store at the Dana Point Shopping Center in Mesa. They’ll be raising dough for pediatric cancer research and selling raffle tickets for four spectacular philosophy gift baskets! If you love cookies, you won’t want to miss this event!
