The Super Bowl is such a great excuse to host a party and some local restaurants are offering deals on some great party platters to make your get together delicious!
Dilly’s Deli is one of my all time favorite sandwich spots. On their facebook page, they announced that they are going to offer sandwich trays of 7 or more sandwiches for 35% off! Their sandwiches are delicious and they have tons of different varieties or you can make your own. Even more exciting is that Dilly’s has offered to give away a Superbowl sandwich tray to one lucky Alicia’s Deals in AZ reader! You can enter two ways, by commenting on a Super Bowl pick facebook post, or by sending an e-mail to aliciasdealsinaz@gmail.com with your pick for the Super Bowl (this will also subscribe you to receive daily e-mails unless you specify you don’t want them). Options are Packers, Steelers, or good game. 🙂 If you comment on facebook and send an e-mail, you’ll get two entries! Drawing will be held Friday night.
I’ve been going to Dilly’s Deli for well over 15 years, and I have a definite favorite. My sisters always call me to see what I get on my sandwich so here’s the order in case your interested:
Peppered turkey on wheat with avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts, onion, olives, cucumbers, and extra raspberry mustard. Yum!
Sprouts does a beautiful job with their party trays and now they’re 25% off! Stop in to your local store to see all of the options. I got a Sprouts fruit tray over the holidays and it was the most beautiful fruit tray I’ve seen!
If you have a small group coming over and love Z Tejas, you might want to try their to-go packages. Each package will serve 4 people. There are four options. The least expensive is $30 and is called the “first down.” It includes a bag of chips, a pint of house salsa, jerk chicken tacos, chicken quesadilla, Tejas trio, and cornbread. The most expensive is $65 and is called the “touchdown.” You get a bag of chips, a pint of house salsa, jerk chicken salad, chicken quesadilla, Leo’s street tacos, ancho fudge pie, cornbread, and a 1/2 gallon of margarita mix. Go to http://www.ztejas.com/ for more information.
