I love Earth day. It’s a great reminder of how important it is to take care of our planet. It’s also a day full of freebies! Here are some of my favorites (note, not all take place on Earth day, April 22nd):

National Parks Week is April 16th-24th, admission to 100 national parks (including the Grand Canyon) is free! There are more national parks in Arizona than in any other state.

Home Depot: Free Earth Day weekend workshops. Adults can learn how to make an eco-friendly garden Thursday, April 21st at 7 PM or Saturday, April 23rd at 1 PM, kids 5-12 can make an Earth Day/Easter Planter basket Saturday, April 23rd from 9-12, and adults can learn how to live green and save green Saturday, April 23rd at 10.
