I hope you and your family have a wonderful, safe New Year’s celebration tonight! 2011 has been a great year for us, and we’re looking forward to see what lies in store for 2012!
I thought if I wrote out my New Year’s resolutions it might hold me a little bit more accountable. I’ll let you know next New Year’s if I stuck to them!
1. Get in shape. I have never really enjoyed exercise, and I’m determined this year to find a way to make it fun. It’s important for me to be a good role model for my kids. I did enter the biggest loser contest at Pulse Fitness (not a bad deal), so I’m excited to see the differences three bootcamps a week, plus personal training and a diet plan will make on my body!
2. Cook more. A good friend of mine uses her crock pot almost daily (such a great idea), and I’m really hoping to have a healthy, homecooked meal on the table five nights a week or more this year.
3. Live in the moment. A very smart person told me that if you’re always worried about what happened yesterday and what’s going to happen tomorrow, you won’t enjoy what’s happening right now.
