On Your Life A to Z today (spot airs Friday, January 4th at 10 AM on Channel 3 and was replayed on Friday, February 15th), we talked about our passions. Obviously, saving money is a passion of mine but so is travelling, enjoying great restaurants, time with family and friends, exercising, and many others. I can’t get my head around why people pay more than they have to, especially with so many easy ways to save (like following Alicia’s Deals in AZ). 🙂 When you’re saving considerably on the things you’re buying anyways, you’re going to have extra to be able to go on that family vacation, you’ll be less stressed about finances, you’ll truly be able to “live life BETTER for less.” I am NOT an extreme couponer by any means, I absolutely do not recommend clearing shelves or buying things you won’t use.
To give you an example, my goal when I started my blog was to save $20 a day. When you multiply it out, that’s $7300 A YEAR! Even if you just saved $20 a week, that would add up to $1040 in a year.
A great tool to start saving more right now is your smart phone! Here are a few of my favorite Apps to save you a lot of $ without clipping a coupon. Bonus: The Apps are FUN!
