If you know a 5-10 year old with ADHD or Dyslexia, please let them know about an incredibly fun, FREE camp this summer that hopes to instill a lifelong love of math. The “Math Magicians” camp will be held the week of June 12th-16th from 9-12 at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Paradise Valley. Two math-loving Xavier College Prep students (Karina Zaveri and Kaitlyn Markham) came up with the idea and were the recipients of the Dragon Kim Foundation Fellowship to put the program into action. They have a dedicated mentor, several special needs teachers helping them design the FUN curriculum, and a team of Xavier College Prep volunteers who are ready to share their love of math with the kids. Parents can head over here to sign their children up (there are a limited number of spots so they recommend signing up today)! Head over here to follow Math Magicians on Instagram! There will be games, prizes, snacks, and lots of fun and learning for everyone in attendance!
Full disclosure…Kaitlyn is my daughter and Karina is her lovely friend. They are truly passionate about math and helping children love it as much as they do. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to email them at kaitlynmarkhamdancer@gmail.com or kzaveri367@gmail.com.Quick update: The camp is getting close to capacity! If your child would enjoy this and you’re available, I recommend signing up soon!
Enjoy (seriously this is going to be awesome)!
