If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time, you probably already know how much I love Ebates (thanks so much to my friend and carpool buddy Trish for getting me into it forever ago)!

The way it works is you click here, join (it takes about 15 seconds), choose what gift card you want (Target, Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, or Magazines.com) and search for a store you were planning on buying from anyways (they have thousands). You’ll get a percentage back into your Ebates account (they mail you a check every so often…those are nice!). Once you make your first $25 or more purchase, you’ll get your free gift card. You get in the habit of checking out Ebates everytime you buy ANYTHING online. The savings really add up.

For example. if I were going to buy back to school clothes from the Children’s Place, I would first go to Ebates, search for the Children’s Place and press “shop now”. 4% off whatever I buy will automatically go back into my Ebates account. The great thing is, you can get this savings back with ANY coupon code, it’s just an added bonus.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how many stores participate. Places like Walmart, Target, Bath and Body Works, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, Red Envelope, Toys r Us, and tons more!
