They made a HUGE change to their coupon policy. As of today all coupons will no longer be worth $1. If you don’t clip coupons, this won’t affect you at all but if you do, this is big. I just called my Safeway and confirmed that they still make all coupons worth at least a buck. I LOVE their Just 4 U program too (you can seriously save up to 30% off the things you buy). They have a gas rewards program as well.

Keep in mind that Walmart price matches too.

Fry’s also recently took some of the medications off their $4/$10 generics list. If your med was on that list, check out other stores around town (they all have different lists).  This alone can save you $100+!
