We’ve been through Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and now it’s Giving Tuesday! It’s a great chance for all of us to give back to the community.
Think about giving a toy to a child in need.
“Guests who bring a new, unwrapped toy for young children through high school aged youth to Sprinkles Cupcakes November 29th through December 14th will receive a free cupcake of their choice*. The promotion is part of the Scottsdale Fire Department’s annual toy drive which provides toys to local underprivileged children. Organizations benefiting from the toy drive include the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Program and Scottsdale’s Paiute Neighborhood Center.” Sprinkles is located at 4501 N. Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85251. What a fun give and get deal! If you can get there before you pick the kids up from school, you could give the cupcake to your child’s teacher (you’d do two nice things in the same day)!
I wrote about the Zoolights promotion at Summer Winds nursery, unfortunately I just called and most locations are out of free tickets. As of right now (1:43 on Tuesday afternoon) the Tatum and Bell location still has a few left, but I would definitely call ahead before you make a trip and don’t be too upset if they’re out when you get there.
This is a great chance to think about the charity closest to your heart!
