One of our favorite things to do each holiday season is take the kids to see The Nutcracker. Today you can head over here to score tickets at a big discount through Goldstar. Speaking of ballet, mark your calendar for September 22nd-30th. Ballet Arizona is presenting Ballet Under the Stars, completely FREE performances at five locations across the valley. They’re going to Goodyear, Fountain Hills, Phoenix, Tempe, and Sun City West. This is a great way to expose the kids to ballet, or just enjoy the amazing Arizona weather.
If you could use a date night, keep in mind that Arizona Restaurant Week is coming September 16th-25th. This is the best week to try that restaurant you’ve been wanting to try forever. Make reservations NOW for places like T Cooks at the Royal Palms, Top of the Rock, El Charro, even chef Wiley’s own Cafe Zuzu. There are three course menus that are $33 or $44, this is one of the best values in dining.
Speaking of Cafe Zuzu, it’s fun the see the amazing chefs on Your Life A to Z and it’s even more fun to visit them at their restaurants! Chef Wiley’s restaurant has all kinds of great deals we can take advantage of so we won’t break the bank. Every Sunday through Thursday after 3 PM through September 15th they’re offering half off bottles of wine. On Wednesdays in the lounge they offer a wine tasting including information about how the wine is made. All night pours are just $6 each. Tonight they’re featuring Dark Horse Chardonnay. On Thursday nights they do the same thing with whiskey.
