Groupon E-mailed Me That the Costco Membership Deal Ends TONIGHT…Better Than Free!

Groupon sent me a message saying this deal ends tonight (10/6)!

If you’ve been thinking about getting a Costco card (or your membership expired before May 1st of this year), this is a DEAL! Head over here to get a Costco membership package worth $148.98 for $60 on Groupon! I have my membership card and it was really easy to get started, keep in mind you must have a Visa card.

If you were to walk into Costco today you would pay $60 for just the membership. With this deal check out what you get for $60:

  • “A One-Year Costco Gold Star Membership, which includes a membership card for the Primary Cardholder and one additional Household Card for anyone over the age of 18 and living at the same address.
  • A $20 Costco Shop Card (gift card is valid towards any purchase, including gas)
  • Exclusive coupons for the following products ($68.98 value*):
    • Free Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean HE Laundry Detergent Pacs ($17.99 value)
    • Free Kirkland Signature Create-a-Size® Paper Towels ($15.99 value)
    • $10 off Fresh Meat (beef, chicken, pork, or fish; excludes deli items)
    • $25 off an order of $250+ on Costco.com”

“To qualify for the package incentives, new members must sign up for auto-renewal of the Costco membership. If a member elects not to sign up for auto-renewal, incentives will not be mailed.

Offer is valid at all US Costco locations. Find a location near you.

Valid only for new members and those whose memberships expired prior to May 1, 2019. Not valid for renewal of an existing Costco membership. The one-year Costco Gold Star Membership Activation Certificate includes one additional Household Card for anyone over the age of 18 and living at the same address. Valid at U.S. Costco locations only.

After purchasing, visit the website listed on your voucher to complete redemption for a Costco Membership Activation Certificate.”

The paper towels, laundry detergent, meat, and cash card are worth $63.98 alone….since I’ll use all of them it makes my $60 membership better than free!

I was a bit bummed that you have to sign up for auto renew BUT I read in the fine print it seems as though you can cancel your membership at the membership counter. Let me know if you read it differently.

Why get just a membership when you could also get a $20 cash card, paper towels, meat, laundry detergent, and more?!

Enjoy!
