It’s more important than ever to save at the grocery store! Check out my top five tips to save the most money possible:

1. Read the ads for your favorite stores every week or check out dealsinaz.com on Wednesdays for a list of my favorites (I’ve been out of town for a few weeks but I’m back to it this week). Buy what’s on sale, and you’ll save lots of money. If your favorite cereal is usually $6/box, stock up when it’s on sale for $1.67/box.

2. Make sure you have apps for the grocery stores you shop at. Safeway, Albertson’s, Fry’s, Target, Sprouts, and Bashas’ all have apps that you can log into to add extra coupons and deals to your account. If you’re not taking advantage of these you could be paying up to 20% too much for groceries.

3. Check out Ibotta through this link. This is an app that will get you extra cash back on things you’re already buying. For example, right now you can get $4 back when you buy Arm & Hammer Deep Clean Liquid, $.75 back when you buy Bubly Sparkling Water, $5 back when you buy Nexxus Hair Products, $5 back when you buy Nature’s Bounty Vitamins or Supplements, $3.98 back when you buy Milk-Bone Dog Treats, and more. The cashback can add up quickly!

4. Shop online and pick up in-store. If you have a list, this saves time and impulse buys! I’ve started buying groceries at Target where they will bring them straight to my car at no extra cost. Just make sure you have the Target app!

5. Eat what’s in season, head over here for a list of what to look for! The produce that is in season right now will be cheaper AND more delicious! Honeycrisp apples, corn, grapes, melons, and tomatoes are in season now, plan your meals and enjoy them!

Enjoy and SAVE!
