If you’re excited to take your kids to the Arizona State Fair but would rather spend less of your hard-earned money doing it, you’ll love these deals!
Every Friday from 12-6 you can get into the fair FOR FREE when you bring 10 cans to donate to Operation Santa Claus and St. Mary’s Food Bank. General admission tickets are usually $15 and this is definitely a win/win! Keep in mind:
“The following items will NOT BE ACCEPTED: Bottled water and all soda, all baby food, seasoning packets, ramen noodles and “Cup O’ Noodles,” and any items in glass containers.
This deal is active October 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 12pm – 6pm.”
If you have a 5-14 year-old, head over here to check out the Read and Ride program. If they read three books they’ll get three free rides! You can download the form here. I heard that each ride is way over $5 this year so this can save a bunch!
If you want to redeem the rides at the same time you enjoy free admission with the canned food, check out the dates that overlap: October 4th, October 11th, October 18th, and October 25th.
Some people love the food at the fair more than anything! Check out the $3 Taste Of The Fair program…
“FAIR IS… FOR THE FOODIES! One of the most prominent aspects of any Fair experience is the food. Step into a world where indulgence meets excitement, where every bite is a new adventure. The Fair isn’t just about rides and games – it’s a journey that caters to every palate. Everything from fry bread, corn dogs, funnel cakes, and more- enjoy $3 Fair food items at every food stand on FRIDAYS from 12pm to 6pm. Foodies, rejoice at this stellar deal!
This deal is active October 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 12 pm – 6 pm).

If I was going to the fair I would bring canned food and show up after school on the 4th, 11th, 18th, or 25th. If I had 5-14 year-old kids, they would read books and bring their filled-out form for free rides! I would also go for a $3 powdered sugar funnel cake!
If you bring your family of four, have two kids, and each reads three books this deal could literally save you $90+ (keep in mind that you will have to bring 40 cans of food for a good cause and that you will have to pay for parking). Check out the parking options here or consider getting dropped off!
Enjoy!
