If you implement these five little habits into your life, you’ll be amazed at how much you save.

Check the grocery ads every Wednesday (they come out online on Tuesday if you want to plan ahead). I put together my favorite deals at each store each week, head over here to see the deals for this week (2/26-3/4)! Different stores have doorbuster deals on certain items each week; if you use the discounted items a lot, it’s worth making a trip.

If you’re 55 or better, shop at Albertsons, Bashas’, Fry’s, and Safeway on the first Wednesday of each month to save an automatic 10% off groceries. That can add up fast!

If you’re stressed about the egg shortage, add Trader Joe’s to your shopping rotation. They only allow one dozen per family BUT they’ve been in stock every time I’ve gone AND they’re not insanely expensive.

Think about the seasons when you’re planning your meals. When you buy in-season produce, you’ll almost always pay less (and it’s fresher and more delicious).

Bring your own bags! It’s better for the earth and if you don’t at Aldi or Sprouts, you’ll have to pay for them.

Happy saving!
