Head over here to sign up for Rakuten (formerly Ebates) and get a $50 bonus after your first $50+ purchase! This is the BIGGEST bonus I’ve ever seen them do, and it’s on top of the fantastic cash back you’ll get for shopping online through them! How it works…you sign up for Rakuten here and search for the store you want to shop at (Nordstrom, Sephora, CVS, Shein, Instacart, Priceline, and literally thousands of other sites). You’ll click “shop now” and you’ll automatically get the cash back percentage listed on the Rakuten site once you place your order. Basically, Rakuten is acting like an ad network. Think of it this way…when you click on a Nordstrom ad on a website you’re reading, Nordstrom pays the referring website a fee. When you shop through Rakuten first, the stores pay a referral fee directly to Rakuten…their business model is that they share the fees with you (you’ll get a check a few times a year).

Let’s walk through an example of exactly how to save (we’ll use Instacart as an example). I would sign up for Rakuten here (or log in to my account if I already have one). Then I would search for “Instacart” and click “Shop Now.” If I made a $50 purchase (and was new) I would get $1 cash back into my account (since they’re currently paying 2%) PLUS the $50 sign-up bonus. It might not seem like a lot, but if you shop at Instacart every week, the extra percentage back will add up!

Here’s another example with Sephora. Log into Rakuten here, search for “Sephora” then click “shop now” to get 10% back (the percentage can vary from day to day)! If you spent $100, you’d get $10 back in your Rakuten account automatically (plus the $50 bonus if you’re new).

I’ve seen up to 25% back or even more when they’re doing promotions…and that’s ON TOP of any coupon codes or sales!

If you’re an online shopper like me, you’ll be amazed at how much money you get back, especially with the holiday season coming up! It’s another money-saving habit to start up…go through Rakuten before you buy. I’ve heard from so many people who are bummed they haven’t been doing this for years! I’ve never had a reader sign up and not love it (that I’ve heard of).

This is truly one of my FAVORITE ways to save!
