Holiday Catering Idea…Oregano’s!

If you’re looking for a different catering idea for your holiday party, Oregano’s is a fun option! Remember, you can get $20 in gift cards free when you buy $100 in gift cards. So this is how I fed twenty people for my husbands’ family birthday party yesterday for $105 including tax and all serving supplies  (and still have TONS of food left over).

I went to Oregano’s the day before the party and bought $100 in gift cards and got a $20 gift card for free. They said the gift cards won’t work until the next day, so definitely be sure to get yours ahead of time.

I ordered off the catering menu (click here to check it out). Each large item feeds 8-12 people.

I got a Vino Bambino salad for $35.95 (includes chicken). My favorite salad at Oregano’s, and the catering portion is seriously the biggest salad I’ve seen. I’m eating salad as I type and will have salad for quite some time to come (the dressing and chicken come on the side so the salad stays fresh).

I ordered two pans of the Boll’o Pasta for $24.95 each. They both came with garlic bread. My son had pasta for lunch and I’m thinking it will be dinner and quite possibly lunch tomorrow.

We got a pan of meatballs for $29.95. These meatballs are BIG and everyone loved them.

All serving utensils and plates and napkins were included. The total including tax was $125.06, or $105.06 if you factor in the free $20 gift card we scored. My hubby used both gift cards and paid $5.06.

Everyone loved the food (and I was completely relaxed and didn’t have to cook)!

Oregano’s will be open from 11-3 Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.

Alicia :-)
