If you’re going to the Phoenix Open (or have a night out planned where you know there will be drinking involved), head over here and sign up for Uber. You’ll get a $20 credit toward your first ride.

Here are directions to use the service:

Head over here to make sure you get your $20 credit.

“Download the Uber app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the Uber app and follow the instructions to sign in.

Choose your preferred vehicle using the selector at the bottom of the screen.

Position the pin on the map where you would like to be picked up. You can also press the location bar and manually type in your location.

Tap the “Set Pickup Location” button.

Confirm your pickup details on the following screen.

No need to pay or tip your driver: Uber stores your credit card on file, so payments are automatic and hassle free.

If you no longer need your ride, click “Cancel”. Rides cancelled after 5 minutes will incur a $10 cancellation fee.”

You can quote a fare to see how much it will be. I live pretty close to the Open and my quote was $9-$11. Much better than dealing with parking and driving!
