“The Arizona Theatre Company’s production of the Tony-winning musical-romance The Music Man has already scored great reviews, with the Arizona Star calling it “a joyous theatrical experience” that “envelops the audience with memorable music, remarkable dance and fine acting and singing.” The All-American classic follows the adventures of fast-talking “Professor” Harold Hill, who plans to con the good people of an Iowa town into buying instruments for a boys’ band he has no intention of organizing, then marching off with their hard-earned cash. But there’s trouble right there in River City when he becomes fond of the townspeople and falls for the lovely Marian the Librarian, even as she begins to see through his scheme. Now coming to the Herberger Center in Phoenix, this always-entertaining show sparkles with memorable tunes like “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Ya Got Trouble,” “Till There Was You,” “Goodnight, My Someone” and many more, and boasts a scenic design by recent Tony nominee Scott Pask (The Band’s Visit, Mean Girls).”

There are tickets available all weekend!

Enjoy!
