Q: How do I become eligible to get a Welcome Box?
A: Welcome Box is available to select customers with active Prime accounts who create a Baby Registry, complete 60% of their Checklist, and have over $10 of purchases from their registry (from themselves or gifters). The $10 threshold does not include tax or shipping costs. It also does not include purchases of Prime or Gift Cards.
Q: Once I am eligible, how can I get a Welcome Box?
A: Once you are eligible, you will see a “Claim Now” button on both the Benefits and Welcome Box pages of your Baby Registry. Click the ‘Claim Now’ button to add the Welcome Box to your cart. In Checkout, be sure the ‘Use your $35.00 Promotional balance’ check box is selected in order to receive your Welcome Box for free. If this box is not selected at Checkout, you will not receive the Welcome Box for free. Note that this is a limited time offer, good while supplies last. Only eligible customers, logged into their Amazon.com account, will be able to redeem the offer.
Q: I completed the $10 purchase requirement, but the box isn’t checked and I can’t claim my Welcome Box yet, how come?
A: You have to wait until your $10 of purchases are shipped. Once your orders ship from the Amazon.com facility your requirement will be completed and you will be able to claim your box.
Q: Are there any limitations to the locations the Welcome Box ships to?
A: The Welcome Box can only be shipped within the continental United States. The Welcome Box cannot be shipped to APO addresses or addresses in Alaska and Hawaii.
Q: What products will be included in the Welcome Box?
A: It’s a surprise! The box will include a selection of products for both baby and parents.
Q: Do I need to add an item from each category to complete a registry?
A: You can manually mark any category in the Registry Checklist as complete if you already have or do not need those items. Once you have either added an item or manually marked the item as complete for 60% of the Registry Checklist categories, you will satisfy this requirement to receive a Welcome Box.
Q: Do I need to be the primary owner of the Amazon Prime account to be eligible for a Welcome Box?
A: The Welcome Box will only be available to the Baby Registry owner, that has a Prime membership or is receiving Prime Benefits as part of an Amazon Household. Individuals who have received Prime Shipping benefits but are not part of Amazon Household will not be eligible.
