Would you like to take your family out for a great night of learning and fun FOR FREE? Check out downtown Phoenix! This Friday, September 6th, three fantastic museums will offer everyone free admission at various times.
First on the list is the Children’s Museum of Phoenix! This fun and interactive place is perfect for the little ones in your life. Admission is usually $17/each (adults must pay too), but on Friday, September 6th from 5-9 PM it will be free for everyone. Click here to read what the Children’s Museum of Phoenix wrote about Free Friday capacity limits and recommendations.
Next up is the Phoenix Art Museum. For PhxArt Afterhours they’re offering free admission to all from 5-9 PM! They promise live music, art-making workshops, entertainment, and more. Tickets are usually $25 for adults and $18 for kids. There is a charge for the special exhibit, head over here for more information.
Last but certainly not least on the list is the Heard Museum. Check out the very important event they have going on this month:
“Join us this September, the Heard Museum invites you to a special First Friday event in recognition of the National Day of Remembrance for U.S. Indian Boarding Schools. For 24 years, our exhibition Away From Home has shed light on a significant period in American history when Indigenous children were separated from their families to attend government-run boarding schools.”
I called to confirm that admission is free for all on 9/6 from 4-8 PM. Admission is usually $22.50 for adults and $9 for kids.
Enjoy!
