A few months ago, I wrote about how excited I was to receive free tickets to visit The Price Is Right. Kaitlyn and I had a GREAT pre-college mother-daughter trip, and the episode we were on aired yesterday (October 14th)! If you’d like to watch it, head over here to CBS.com (or use their app). Dang I heard so many were watching it they’re making people sign up for Paramount+ now. Ugh! You can search for 10/14 Price is Right on Youtube, my sister sent me the links! Email me alicia@dealsinaz.com if you can’t find them! It’s Season 54, episode 17, in case you find it a different way.
For me personally, it was by far the BEST deal I’ve posted about! We got free tickets, had a blast, met amazing people, and (spoiler alert) I WON the showcase showdown! It was definitely a bucket list thing that worked out better than I ever could have hoped!

If you would love to “Come on Down” too, head over here to request your free tickets! If you pick Priority tickets, you’re GUARANTEED a seat as long as you’re on time. There are STILL dates available while I’m typing this! You’ll have to get yourself to California for the taping on the date you pick. Once you arrive, you’ll wear a number and go in groups to “try out” for the producer, who will choose the contestants. My advice is to bring every bit of energy and enthusiasm you’ve got into your audition. You may go and not get called (this is probably the most likely outcome), but hopefully you have a great time! No matter what, you’ll leave the show a member of the “Price is Right family”.

I’m an empty nester (more positively known as a “bird launcher”) now, and while I miss the kids A LOT, I’m excited for lots of travels and fun. Trips to Maine, Montreal, and Japan will be GREAT adventures! I think my experience highlights the importance of not going over (I was insanely lucky)!
Update: I have heard from lots of people upset that I did not listen to Kaitlyn and pick the 2, but sadly, I could not see her from where I was standing! I heard after the game was over that she was holding up a 2. Oh well! My mind was not registering having two 2’s in the price (probably good to keep in mind if you happen to be chosen for the Any Number game)!
Enjoy if you choose to watch, and good luck if you go! And THANK YOU Drew and all of the amazing people at The Price is Right! What a fun experience!
