If you’re new to Mah Jong and looking for a set, head over here for the best deal I’ve found (also from Sam’s Club). The blooming tiles are beautiful, and everything you need to play (besides the Mah Jong card) is included: the bag, the tiles, the racks, the game mat, the tile case, and more! I like it so much I bought three (one for myself, one for my mother, and one for my mother-in-law). This is so much prettier than the basic Amazon sets, and I believe it rivals the exorbitantly expensive sets (this set of tiles is $500 and doesn’t include the racks, game mat, case, or bag).
Wildflower Bread Company has square tables perfect for Mah Jong, and you’ll almost always see groups of ladies at the Scottsdale location playing.
