I wanted to remind you that the awesome Albertsons better than free wine deal ends tomorrow (Tuesday, April 22nd…or today if you’re reading this in the AM!). The $40 off coupon will still be good through April 29th, but the wine won’t be 25% off when you buy 6 bottles.

Head to your closest Albertsons and ask for the Big Deal Book. On the second to last page you’ll see a coupon for $40 off your grocery purchase of $40.01 or more when you buy 6 or more bottles of select wine or spirits.

Once Upon a Vine wine is usually $13.99, but on sale for $8.88 through Tuesday. You’ll automatically get 25% off when you buy six bottles, bringing the per bottle cost down to $6.66. Since this wine is part of the $40 off deal, you’ll save $6.67 toward groceries for each bottle. So it’s like Albertsons paying you $.06 to take six bottles. Seriously, how awesome is this? There are other bottles of wine eligible for the discount too. You MUST spend $40.01 in groceries, but we’ll all need groceries, right?

You can use the coupon once per visit (no limit) all the way through April 29th. I might snag a couple of Big Deal books (though my Albertsons said you could ask the cashier for a coupon too).

I’ve used this a couple of times at two different Albertsons. Hurry to snag yours before they run out and be sure to call ahead to confirm that they have it in stock so you don’t waste a trip! Even if you don’t like wine, it can make excellent gifts and is nice for when people who do like wine come over (we should all be entertaining for less more often)!
