We’ve been talking all week long about how to save the most at YOUR STORE even when there isn’t a sale. You hard earned bucks are valuable (and worth more than you think when you use my easy tips). I hope you’ll “like” Alicia’s Deals on facebook where I’ll help you “live life better for less” every single day. My goal is to get up to 10,000 people saving together and we’re getting there! I am so thrilled you’re here!  You can check out my other segments on Walmart, Safeway, and Fry’s. Tomorrow we’re headed to Target (so you’ll want to tune into 3TV at 9:15)!

The first thing everyone should do when they get to CVS is go to the Coupon Center. Each store has one and you can either scan your CVS card or use your phone number (so nice since I never have my card with me) to get lots of coupons printed just for you. Grab an ad too to check out the sales and ExtraBucks deals.

reasons

I went straight to the Gillete Venus razor. I had this printable manufacturers’ coupon for $2 offand a  CVS coupon for $4 off any razor purchase of $10+ that printed off at the coupon machine (may not print for everyone). I also earned $5 ExtraBucks.

One thing that’s very important to remember about ExtraBucks is that you can use them right away (I ALWAYS do). You’ll have to check out a couple of times but you won’t forget them in the car or let them expire.

Then I bought three Neutrogena wipes packs. I had a manufacturers coupon (from the free Wall Street Journal I get each day), and a CVS coupon that printed off when I got to the store. I used the $5 Extrabucks I earned on the razor and earned another $10 in Extrabucks.

Then I bought two Revlon eye shadows. They were on sale buy one get one half off and I had two of these printable coupons for $2 off your Revlon eye product (you can print off two). Matching the sale to the coupons that meant eye shadow for way less than $1 each. I also bought deodorant, cereal, and a few other things that were on sale and used the $10 ExtraBucks I earned on the Neutrogena products. My total bill was just over the cost of tax.

Another fun CVS perk that very few people actually take advantage of is the ExtraCare Beauty Club. You can sign up here for freeand you’ll earn $5 in Extrabucks for every $50 in beauty products you spend. You’ll also get $3 in Extrabucks for your birthday, a 10% off pass after you enroll, and more.

Know the rules and how to maximize your savings with these key tips and you’ll be amazed at how much you save.
