This deal is SMOKING (especially since we’ll all need so much sunscreen this year)!

 

Right now select varieties of Banana Boat are on sale at Walgreens buy one get one free with your rewards card (it’s free to get one). My Walgreens actually had $2 off coupons tied to many of the sunscreens. If yours does too, grab two of them (they’re good on ALL Banana Boat sunscreens and you can use both at the same time). You can also head over here to print off a coupon for $3/2 Banana Boat sunscreens from RedPlum. If this doesn’t work for you (I was having troubles), you can also print off two $1/off coupons directly from Banana Boat’s site.

 

With ibotta it gets EVEN BETTER! Head over here to get an account if you don’t already have one. Head to the Walgreens rebate offer list and you’ll find rebates available for $1.25 back when you buy Banana Boat Sport and $1.25 back when you buy Banana Boat Kids. These sunscreens qualify for the Walgreens buy one get one free deal (you don’t have to buy identical sunscreens). To get the rebate, you’ll have to play a trivia game and post to facebook. I found a way that I can post to facebook via ibotta so only I see the the posts (and hopefully avoid annoying my friends).  ibotta is so much fun once you get the hang of it.

I paid $11.49 for the Kids sunscreen and got the Sport sunscreen free. They took $4 off with my two coupons (did you know before now that you can use a coupon on an item you’re getting for free? you can check their policy here if you don’t believe me), and I’m getting $2.50 back from Ibotta (I put the money directly into my Paypal account when it hits $5). So I’m spending $4.99 on two sunscreens we will DEFINITELY use! Love paying $2.50 for $11.49 items!

Saving isn’t always perfect (my Redplum experience today), but it’s such a great feeling to get that great deal! I was thrilled it was an even better deal when I got to the store (the $2 off each coupon right on the products)!
