If you’re not busy early Friday morning, take the kids to Big Surf! They’re trying to break their own world record for the largest swim lesson.
“World’s Largest Swimming Lesson – Friday, June 20th!
Once again, Big Surf Waterpark is a host site for The World’s Largest Swim Lesson’s (WLSL) attempt to break the Guinness World Record for largest simultaneous swim lesson. This year, we will defend our own personal Guinness World Record as the hosting the most participants of any host site…we’re hoping to exceed 906 swimmers. Waterparks and pools around the globe will host a swim lesson and water safety class to spread the message that swim lessons can save lives! Admission is free to this event and we ask that everyone arrive no later than 7 a.m.”
If you’re there for the swim lesson, you can stay the rest of the day for free.
Friday is also First Responder’s Day!
“First Responder’s Day – Friday, June 20th!
On the same day we attempt to break a Guinness World Record during the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson, we’d like to offer complimentary admission to all First Responders. This includes police officers, fire fighters, EMT’s, paramedics and emergency room physicians & nurses. A big deserved “Mahalo” to all of you from us!”
Could be a fun, FREE day! It’s so much nicer out early anyways!
Enjoy!
