Reminder: Hot Staycation Deals!

The staycation deals are here and I wanted to put my top three together in time for your weekend! Head over here to get a night at the Scottsdale Princess including drinks and resort fees for as low as $119!

Check out what’s included:

  • “$30 resort fee

They have a beach now!

Head over here to save over HALF OFF weekends at Marriott Tempe at the Buttes. I just called them and confirmed there is NO RESORT FEE (those are a pet peeve of mine).

  • “This 4-star hotel pays homage to Arizona’s majestic scenery with cascading waterfalls, desert flora and an inspiring backdrop of a hillside butte
  • The resort’s circular restaurant, Top of the Rock, offers a panoramic view of the Valley of the Sun
  • Browse the shopping and dining options in downtown Phoenix or watch the Arizona Diamondbacks swing for the fences at Chase Field, both less than 15 minutes away
  • There are two pools, a waterslide, four tennis courts, two volleyball courts and numerous hiking trails at the resort
  • Thursday-Sunday arrivals, May 13, 2016 – Sept. 4, 2016
  • Accommodations in a Standard Room
  • $89 per night, includes daily valet or self-parking ($10 value) and Wi-Fi ($12 value)
  • $129 per night, includes a welcome amenity ($23 value), daily valet or self-parking ($10 value), Wi-Fi ($12 value) and $50 resort credit
  • Two-night options available
  • Room price is based on two guests in a king room and up to four guests in a two double room”

Right now Scottsdale Quarter is giving away a free night when you spend $500 at two or more stores. What’s really exciting is that two people confirmed to me that you can use American Express Scottsdale Quarter gift cards as your $500 (then stop at another store and buy an iced tea or anything else and you’re good to go). You can use that gift card ANYWHERE American Express is accepted.  I know that $500 is a lot to shell out at once, but if you use it on things you’re buying anyway (groceries, gas, etc.), it’s like getting the night for the $3.75 purchase charge. I just went online and to reserve a room this weekend it would be $180.

Head over here for more information, this is an amazing Alicia’s Deal (they could run out so I would get yours soon)! I would definitely call to make sure they have nights left before you make a special trip.
