My top three tips to save the MOST this year are as follows:
- Make a list and a plan of where you’re going and what you’re looking for.
- Don’t get distracted by deals that aren’t really deals…check out sites like camelcamelcamel.com to find out what items have sold for in the past year.
- Keep a good sense of humor!
If you’re going to head out this Olympic week of shopping, check out some of the deals out there:
JC Penney: Doors open at 2 PM Thanksgiving Day and they’re giving out coupons for either $500 off your $500 purchase, $100 off your $100 purchase, or $10 off your $10 purchase. They’ll have deals available like American Explorer Hardside Luggage for $39.99, usually $180-$220. They’ll also have 60% off Christmas trees and holiday decor.
Target: Doors open at 5 PM and their big TV deal is a 55 inch Element model for $199.99, $180 off. If you’re looking for a heart healthy deal, the FitBit Versa Smartwatch will be $149, $50.95 off.
Walmart: If you’re willing to get there at 6PM Thursday you could possibly pick up a Play Station 4 Spider Man bundle for $199, a 65 inch 4K tv for $398, or other hot deals. They’ll be serving free coffee and cookies before the doors open too.
My favorite gifts to send and receive are holiday cards and it’s time to start thinking about sending them! Save yourself a lot of time with holiday address labels.
