I am a HUGE fan of Salad and Go…their $1 green teas and cold brews are some of my go-to’s! Their response to Covid-19 has made me an even BIGGER fan! Check out what they’re doing:
“we are in our 3rd week of FREE Salads and Breakfast Burritos! We are continuing to honor those that are working on the frontlines as well as those that may have lost their jobs during this crisis. We are in this together!
Thursday, 4/2: Truck drivers, Delivery drivers, Postal service, Manufacturing and Warehouse workers, and Farmers
Friday, 4/3: Child Care and Teachers
Saturday, 4/4 and Sunday, 4/5: Healthcare Workers and First Responders
Just show our drive-thru cashier a form of identification to your place of work, whether it is a badge, paystub, or uniform. One salad or breakfast burrito for each person present with one of these forms of ID only through the drive-thru, not available through online ordering. Because our walk-up window is closed for the safety of our team and guests, we ask that those in trucks that cannot fit in the drive-thru please come before or after work. Our salads do hold quite well in the refrigerator for a couple days. Thank you in advance for your honesty and integrity around this, as we help those listed above this week.
Please understand that we, just like all of us, are doing our best to help where needed, but even with this we know we are still not able to help everyone. We will continue to help as long as we are in a position to do so.
DONATE: If you are in a position to help and would like to donate, we are still accepting donations to UMOM New Day Centers and St. Mary’s Food Bank, which can now be made through our drive-thru! You can also donate by simply downloading our app (available on iOS and Android) and proceeding as though you are going to place an order, selecting any location, day and time. Select the icon “Donations” and proceed to checkout. Donations can be made without purchasing any food. You can even donation online at saladandgo.com, through the online ordering tab. Let’s help these two great, local non-profits fight to support those in need.”
Head over here to follow them on Facebook and check out their deals next week (and beyond).
Thank you so much Asther and Carole!
